As a dedicated and passionate Physiotherapist, I graduated cum laude with a BSc in Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of the Witwatersrand. My career began with community service at Discoverers Clinic in Johannesburg, where I gained valuable experience managing a diverse range of conditions, delivering health talks, and conducting home visits.

 

Following this, I honed my expertise in orthopaedic rehabilitation at Alta Smits Physiotherapists, focusing on post-operative management for upper limb surgeries. My journey continued at Gray Physiotherapists and Associates, where I expanded my skill set to include medical chest physiotherapy, mobilization, and strengthening, alongside instructing Pilates and classes designed for the elderly to enhance strength, balance, and endurance.

 

I am now thrilled to embark on a new adventure by starting my own practice. My passion drives me to continue treating orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal patients while also treating vestibular and temporomandibular joint disorders. Additionally, I will be offering home visits for patients with chest conditions and providing Pilates sessions privately or in small groups.

 

I have done post graduate courses for Dry Needling, Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy (further knowledge in treatment of joint, muscle and nerve conditions), the Temporomandibular Joint (jaw) and Pilates. Furthermore, I will be completing a Vestibular Rehabilitation course in June 2026, but have had training in this area and learnt from expert colleagues.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends, as well as playing action soccer or tennis, hiking around Cape Town and cooking.
